A bit about me:

I have lived and worked in Bridlington for the last 14 years as owner of The Royal Bridlington with my wife Fiona. I am passionate about making this great area the thriving success that it has been in years gone by.
My background - I have a BA(Hons) in Banking, Insurance and Finance from Bangor University and have previously spent 16 years with Yorkshire Water in numerous roles eventually as one of the senior Chartered Management Accountants in the Commercial Team looking after multi million pound projects.

What are the Yorkshire Party Policies?
​
On Education - We will legislate for fair school funding; guarantee mental health services for pupils and teachers alike; and ensure the school curriculum is fit for the 21st century.
On Environment - We will achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2030 by investing in wind and hydrogen; planting six million trees; and implementing a total ban on fracking.
On Housing - We will build a new generation of green homes; deliver a scheme to match fund deposits for first time buyers; and give councils new powers to tackle homelessness.
On Transport - We will invest in the new Northern Powerhouse Rail line; introduce a public transport refund scheme; and triple the number of electric car charging points in Yorkshire.
On Brexit - We believe we must respect the referendum, secure a good deal for Yorkshire and take powers back from Westminster.
Hello, welcome to my Candidate Profile.
I am proud to have been nominated to stand as a candidate for the forthcoming General Election on 12th December 2019 to the East Yorkshire Constituency.
I hope, after learning more about me that you will be able to support me and place a cross in my box.
Please read on further to hear about what I can offer this Great Constituency which encapsulates the wonderful towns of Driffield, Market Weighton, Pocklington and Bridlington.
My main attributes I can bring to the reality within Parliament following a successful General Election are:-

My Independence - although I am standing with The Yorkshire Party - I am still free to make my own decisions within the policy structure of The Yorkshire Party.

My Business and Finance Knowledge, and;

My desire to continually improve the area we all know and Love.

As of May 2019 I have been pleased and indeed Proud to be a representative for the Bridlington South Ward in East Riding of Yorkshire Council and also on Bridlington Town Council.
​
As a Councillor my Track Record has been one of standing up for the issues in the Ward such as Fracking, over expansion of Holiday Parks which affected local residents, the over expansion of the Prisons and most recently the introduction of a Business Improvement District which does not have the backing of Businesses.
​
I have also been instrumental in getting a long term Police Operation implemented in Bridlington to tackle ASB and Disrupt Drug Activity.
